How it works

Each month, MRR loses the churn percentage, gains the expansion percentage, then adds your new MRR: end = start × (1 − churn + expansion) + new. The ceiling is new MRR ÷ (churn − expansion). With $1,000 of new MRR a month and 2% net churn, MRR levels off near $50,000 however long you wait. It assumes steady rates, so treat it as a quick check, not a forecast.

More detail: how to calculate MRR and how to calculate churn. For what a customer is worth, use the LTV:CAC calculator.
